Certified Dog Behaviorist
Specialising In Sensitive and Anxiety Behaviours, Rescue and Overseas Dogs, Puppy and Adolescent Dog Support
About Donna & Canine Bond
Hello, my name is Donna Bond, and welcome to the Canine Bond website. As a certified dog behaviorist, I hold qualifications from the International School for Canine Psychology and Behaviour and I am a accredited behaviourist with INTODogs. I am also a certified family dog mediator.
My approach is centered on the emotional well-being of dogs, through a trauma-informed perspective in all aspects of my work, with holistic and compassionate care, specialising in sensitive, anxious behaviours, rescue and overseas dogs. In addition, I offer personalized life skills coaching for puppies and adolescent dogs through engaging and thoughtful teaching.
I am dedicated in providing support to both dogs and their caregivers, aiming to strengthen a strong and trusting bond between you both, by understanding and responding to your dog needs in a kind and respectful way. I believe your dog is not just a pet, but a special part of your family that deserves the best care and support.
My experience is the pleasure of always having dogs in my life, working in animal rescue and sharing my life now with Murphy, a Border Collie who is fun-loving, and a delight to be around. Murphy, along with my previous dogs, have taught me so much, sparking my interest in canine behavior and psychology.
Canine Bond is a blend of experience, knowledge, and a deep love for dogs, committed to ongoing professional development to maintain my accreditation as a full canine behaviorist with INTODogs, covered by the UK Dog Behaviour & Training Charter, ensuring I offer the best advice and support.
Testimonials
We have just completed our puppy training with Donna. I can not recommend her enough. Penny loved her lessons and I feel like I've learnt so much as well. Donna was very knowledgeable and helpful.

I have been a Certified Animal Behaviourist for 15 years and have an international platform helping educate about the latest in behavioural science. As the dog training and behaviour profession is unregulated in the UK, it is really important that the public become more aware of how important it is to employ someone who is suitably qualified, experienced and works to a modern ethical standard.
Donna Bond is such a professional, and I have not only worked with Donna on several cases, but I also refer people to her without hesitation. Donna represents the very best in professional practice and her knowledge, compassion and focus on providing high levels of care and support, mean anyone employing her can do so with confidence.

Some more wonderful reviews
Thank you Donna for helping us with Ginny formally a street dog from Romania a beautiful girl. Your approach, your gentleness, kindness is so lovely, no wonder she has a wagging tail when we see you. We have seen such improvement in her and learning curve for us.

Thank you Donna for helping us train Luna our golden doodle. In just 4 weeks we went from a pulling dog that would not come back to us when called, to a dog that is a pleasure to walk and returns after her playtime. I will certainly recommend your skills to anyone needing help with their dog training .
